The modern wedding industry’s take on accessories is stripped of originality and severely lacking the emotion they’re meant to express. A wedding is such a sentimental milestone, not only for both individuals but for the couple as a unit. It’s very important for everyone to love what they’re wearing and feel that it reflects their true self. This collection in its current form is a representation of what I want to feel and look like at my own wedding. Through the labor of love, that is the creation of my statement pieces, I hope to keep the memory of my special day alive through physical symbols. I want to break the mold because I feel like it has never fit me.
